Evis Karandrea

Since September 2018 Evis holds the position of General Director/ Administrator at the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel’, which issues European degrees and is attended by Albanian and international students. Evis is a well-established leader with a vast and deep expertise in the sector of electronic communications due to a career of 16 years with a leading international telecommunications company in Albania and in Italy (Vodafone), in the position of Director in various roles from strategy, legal dhe regulatory, to marketing, commercial and commercial operations, including both the mobile and fixed market. Due to her role Evis has had a leading part in the development of the new electronic communications framework in Albania in line with the EU framework working closely with AKEP, the various governmental and institutional stakeholders and the Albanian Parliament. In addition, she has had a leading role in the commercial launch of the next generation fiber networks in Italy. Following her previous role as Country Director, Evis is currently Board member of Assist Digital, an innovative company focused in innovative CRM and digital services. 

Moreover, Evis has deep expertise in the area of EU integration due to her past experience in the Legal Service of the European Commission and a leading law firm in Brussels. Evis holds a Degree in Jurisprudence from the Tirana University, AL a Masters Degree in Law with focus in European and Commercial Law from University of Cambridge, UK and an MBA from University of Warwick, UK.
